Concatenate DXL Layout

So I'm grabbing data from a few different sources, but when I combine them together they show up on a new line each time I use the display command.  I tried using three columns that use dxl layouts and then concatenating those together.  Unfortunately, that simply displays nothing.  Is there any way I can get all the data on one line?  Here is an abbreviated version of the dxl layout script.

display probeAttr_(obj, "Number")"\t" probeAttr_(obj, "Title")"\t"
if (obj."Type" "" == "Styled")
{
display"0""\t"
}
else
{
display"1""\t"
}
display probeAttr_(obj, "Author")"\t" probeAttr_(obj, "Publication")"\t"

I just tried that last line in a module of mine with different attribute names. It works fine for me. Are you sure the column width is not so short that it appears to be putting the data on multiple lines?

The "display" command adds an EOL.  Use a buffer:

  • Buffer bufResults = create()
  • bufResults += Info_1
  • bufResults += "\t"
  • bufResults += Info_2
  • display(tempStringOf(bufResults))
  • delete(bufResults)

Thanks much!  It works perfectly now.
